Kris Kalidindi’s practice is currently focused on preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical and computer technologies.
Kris was previously affiliated with large patent and general practice firms. He has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in telecommunications, antennas, computer hardware, graphical user interfaces, business methods and internet-related technologies.
Kris has also assisted in patent and trademark litigation including drafting motions and trial briefs. As a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (PTO), Kris examined patent applications in the areas of compilers, operating systems, databases and business methods.
Prior to law school, Kris was a software engineer with experience in compilers, databases and artificial intelligence. Kris received his B.S.E.E. from Florida Atlantic University, his M.S. (Computer Science) from the University of Miami and was awarded his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law. Kris is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Florida and Connecticut and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
